Style Requirements Judge disrupts the fight when an athlete first wins a point. The Point Counter writes the point down and the fight continues. All kicks above the belt are allowed, as well as all punches with the protective side of the glove. All sweeps are accepted provided that they are made shoe to shoe and from α close distance. Every succeeded sweep gives one point. A sweep is considered successful when any part of the opponents’ body touches the ground. Points that access the opponents’ Defence, irrelative of strength, give one point, except of kicks to head which gives 2 points The event ends after an athlete scores three points. In case no one scored three points after the 90 seconds, the judges declare winner the athlete who leads the score. If the score is even then the judges decide the winner, impressions related, based on the aggressiveness and the technique skills of the athletes. Competing Area The fights take place on 8x8 meters Tatami Outfit The athletes wear long pants and a T-Shirt or a traditional Jacket and belt Equipment Headgear closed with Plexiglas or bars attached, mouth guard, groin protector, shin protector, safety boots, 10oz gloves and breast protector for women. Exits Exits which happen on purpose to avoid the opponents attack are punished with a yellow card. Exits occur when one leg of the athlete step outside the Tatami. Yellow and Red Card Spinning back fist, head buts, elbow strikes, punches with the inner part of the glove and strikes to the throat, the back side of the head, the groin and the backside. Majority System The arbitration consists of two judges and a Main Referee, and the majority system is used. according to edition (6) - February 26th, 2010
